Extreme Roofing has been built on a foundation of passion, craftsmanship, and generations of roofing expertise.

Our story begins with Andrew (Andy) Monk, who founded the company in 2013. With over 33 years of roofing experience across Australia and New Zealand, Andy bought a wealth of knowledge to projects ranging from architectural design and high-end reroofs to large-scale commercial construction. Under his leadership, Extreme Roofing quickly became a trusted name in the industry.

In 2019, Quentin Ross purchased the business and renamed it Extreme Roofing Central Ltd. Roofing runs deep in Quentin's blood - his family began manufacturing concrete tiles in the 1940s, growing Ross Roofing into New Zealand's largest producer by 2000's, and later expanding internationally as Metrotile and Ross Roof Group. After some years away from the industry to focus on family, Quentin returned with a renewed passion to carry forward his family's legacy of delivering quality products and services.

Not long after, Andy and Quentin joined forces to create Extreme Roofing Otago Ltd, a separate company from Extreme Roofing Central Ltd. Based in Dunedin, with a branch in Invercargill, Extreme Roofing Otago Ltd now serves both residential and commercial clients throughout Otago and Southland.

Both, Andy and Quentin are Licensed Building Practitioners, combining technical expertise, an eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety. They share the same belief that sets Extreme Roofing apart: do the best job possible the first time around. That means offering honest advice, tailored roofing solutions, and delivering workmanship that stands the test of time.
